What are the precautions for using corrosion-resistant self priming pumps?

1) Installation:

1. The pump has been transported over a long distance to the site of use. Before installation, the entire machine parts must be checked for completeness and damage. The fasteners should be tightened, and the concentricity of the pump shaft and motor shaft should be checked. If there is any displacement, it should be corrected.

2. During installation, it is necessary to minimize the hydraulic loss of the suction pipeline as much as possible, and no less than 90 ° elbows should be installed. There should be no more than 2 90 ° elbows on the inlet pipeline, and a filter should be installed at the pump inlet to prevent large impurities from entering the pump and ensure normal operation of the pump. During installation, the length of the inlet pipeline should be minimized as much as possible (this will reduce air in the inlet pipeline, thereby reducing self suction time and increasing work efficiency).

3. The connecting bolts of the water inlet pipe must be tightened evenly, and the seal must be tight without air leakage. Soft flange sealing gaskets (such as fluororubber) should be used as much as possible, otherwise it will seriously affect the self suction performance of the pump.

2) Precautions for operation and use:

1. Check if the motor running direction is consistent with the pump running direction markings, do not reverse!

2. The pump body must be filled with liquid to start operation, and idling is strictly prohibited. If the pump cannot produce liquid within the specified self priming height range for 7-10 minutes, it should be immediately stopped to check the cause (mainly to check if there is air leakage in the inlet pipe to prevent the working fluid inside the pump from heating up and damaging the pump machine).

3. After the first injection of liquid into the pump body, it is generally not necessary to inject liquid again. However, if the shutdown time is long or there is leakage in the seal after shutdown, the liquid in the pump should be lost. Before the second start-up, the liquid in the pump should be checked first, and the pump should be filled before start-up.

When not in use for a long time in winter, the liquid inside the pump should be drained to avoid freezing and prevent it from working properly.
